Have you hear that lemon juice can be effective for a homemade acne treatment? People deal with so many skin problems, and we will all face at least one in our lifetime, acne would be just one of them. Hyper pigmentation, rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars are more skin disorders that many people will face. If your looking for a more natural approach try using lemon juice.

Although there are many factors that can contribute to skin disorders such as the environment, rays from the sun, cosmetics, and soaps or detergents that have harsh chemicals, lack of proper minerals and vitamins is a huge contributing factor. Vitamins and minerals will simply promote overall health to the body and the skin. making sure you are getting enough proteins is vital to help repair and restore damaged tissue.

The most common skin disorders that people suffer from are uneven skin tone, acne, wrinkles and fine lines. This often happens due to lack of vitamins and minerals. You must feed your body in order for it to perform optimally. The body needs these vitamins just to exist. A good example of this is lemons, they provide a good source of vitamins and mineral and also contain anti oxidants that promote healthy skin. A combination of minerals, vitamins and proteins aid in the promotion of healthy skin.

The reason that lemon juice can be a good homemade acne treatment is the contents provide calcium, minerals like potassium and also magnesium. Plus important vitamins such as C,E and B. Acne can occur when the hair follicle gets clogged and becomes inflamed. Acne scarring occurs when there is irregular tissue growth and production of collagen. Not getting enough B complex and not enough hydration results in wrinkles. Lack of vitamin C can be the cause of hyper pigmentation.

For lemon juice to an effective homemade acne treatment, take it orally and use it topically. The result will be softer, supple, cleaner skin.

You can use the lemon juice in two ways to get the maximum benefits. Slice a piece of lemon and apply directly to the face covering the affected areas. Or you can put the lemon juice on a cotton ball and apply to the face that way. I would personally suggest using a cotton ball or some other applicant to prevent the acne and bacteria from spreading.

When applying with a cotton ball, use different ones for the non-affected areas as well. After leaving on your face for several hours, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Avoid rubbing the face with a towel. Your skin will feel fresh and clean. Using lemon juice will also help to get rid of excessive sebum, dead skin cells, and kill germs. You can dilute the lemon juice with a little water if you feel it burning your skin.
